TensorIoT is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner and is currently seeking a high-performing, detail-oriented, and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager - Sustainability to join our growing team!
This role would perform a range of account development, lead to opportunity hand-off and business development duties to support the function of the firm. The ideal candidate will need at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in sustainability, carbon accounting or scope 3 related practices. In addition, the ideal candidate will have direct experience dealing with CSO, head of sustainability or similar type functions within organizations.
As Business development-Sustainability you will:
Generate new leads and manage a sales pipeline
Meet or exceed lead to opportunity creation goals
Effectively qualify leads and identify prospect needs, engaging technical resources as required
Deliver forecasts of business into commit, identify trending opportunities/challenges, with suggestions to solve
Identify opportunities with both new and existing customers
Utilize solution selling techniques to effectively guide sales process to close
Create proposals and manage prospects through the sales process
Develop and deliver effective sales presentations and online and onsite product demos
Coordinate with Customer Support, Engineering and Implementation teams
Manage relationships with partners and distributors
Domestic travel required (30%)

We're looking for someone who has:
3-5 years of experience working in sustainability, and carbon accounting roles
Ability to prepare and present complex information in group meetings to C-level executives, and senior managers
Knowledge of scope 1/2/3
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Proactive selling techniques
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Salesforce knowledge a plus
